Plein-Aire: Music and Nature

EMO's upcoming season features repertoire ranging from Haydn and Mahler to Beethoven and Respighi and includes compositions which depict or are inspired by nature. States Music Director Zvonimir Hacko: "The affinity of nature and music is so great, so powerful, that we need to be reminded that throughout history of music, nature played an important role as a source of inspiration to great composers.
